About My Business
My agricultural business is located east of Bremen in northern Germany in the district Osterholz in Lower Saxony. I inherited my parent’s farm in 2001 and have been managing it successfully ever since.´
Five of the 17 hectares are fenced for breeding the deer.
The enclosures are agriculturally optimised and providing the animals with all they need. Shelter and a special installation to catch them are available, even though the deer is tranquilised with a narcotic.
In the enclosures I am keeping about 12 to 16 stocks of red deer plus offspring. The amount of fallow deer is about 16 to 20 and the mouflon population consists of six deers. The whole population is tested for parasites and two times year they get anthelmintics through the fodder for deworming.
In november of 2012 I passed the exam for wild game butchery at the LAVES Institute in Lower Saxony.
With this EU-license I received the permission to sell venison in all of Europe.
Furthermore I work closesly with the veterinary office of the distric Osterholz.
As an agricultural farmer, studied at a trade school, technical breeder and zookeeper, I can fulfil all the requirements necessary for animal husbandy and feeding. I have experience as a hunter for more than 23 years and in advanced training courses I practised the tranquilisation of wild game. My experience and the attendance of the courses at the LBZ Echem allows me to take the best possible care of the animals.
